Nature’s Bounty Optimal Solutions Collagen has both a lot of good reviews and bad reviews floating around but unfortunately some of the bad reviews about this product cannot be ignored.

First Issue with This Product

Below I took a screen shot a review that I found on amazon about a customer who took this product and started to get sick all of a sudden. According to the customer the reason why they got very sick was due to this product containing copper which can make some people really ill. We get most of our copper from our daily meals that we eat so there is no reason why it needs to be added to a collagen supplement or why it at least shouldn’t be added to a separate product which the customer outlined in his/her response as well:

Another problem seems to be that is product has very large tablets that some people seem to have a hard time swallowing due to it being too big. Other complain about vomiting and outbreaks and the list goes on. Also, this collagen supplement manufacture gets their collagen from (porcine) which is another word for pigs so if you’re muslim or a vegetarian or even peskaterian this might be a cause of concern. Also, this product might contain GMO’s.

With that being said, all the reviews are not negative, some people actually had decent results using the product.

I will say this, you get what you pay for and this product is extremely cheap at only $7, most collagen supplements are $15+ and the really good collagen products start at around $100+ so that’s something you might want to keep in mind.

All in all, if you are really pressed for cash and want to go the cheapest route, I don’t think you’ll find anything cheap than this product.
